Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run DailyKnack and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

You give us: your name and email (to save progress and send reminders), and optionally your mobile number (only if you provide it, for future reminders). Automatically: your answers, streak, and preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics and do not build advertising profiles.

Why we use it

To provide the service, save and restore your streak across devices, send daily reminders and product updates you opt into, process payments, and improve the product.

Who processes it

We use trusted processors: Brevo (email and, where applicable, SMS), Razorpay (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). They process data only to provide their service to us.

Notifications & consent

We only send reminders/marketing if you opt in. You can withdraw consent any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Providing a mobile number is optional and used solely for reminders you’ve agreed to.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by emailing support@dailyknack.in. We honour rights under India’s DPDP Act and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it. We use reasonable technical safeguards; no method is 100% secure.

Children

DailyKnack is intended for working/aspiring professionals and not directed at children under 16.
